President/CEO
|
Spencer is the President of Wasatch Software, a multi-million dollar supplier of IT products and services. He first gained industry experience while working on Microsoft’s licensing and anti-piracy teams. In 2002, Spencer founded Wasatch Software as a software licensing reseller. The Company now sells more Microsoft licensing than any other Utah-based company. He has since overseen the evolution of the Company to include resale of a wide array of hardware and software technologies, and the addition of an IT services team to support SMB customers. Spencer holds numerous industry sales and technical certifications from companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, Kaspersky and VMware. He has also garnered numerous individual awards. Most recently, Utah Businessmagazine named Spencer to the prestigious ’40 under Forty’ list, which recognizes the top young executives in the state. Spencer is pleased to contribute to the success of the industry by serving on TechSelect’s Advisory Council, Kaspersky Lab’s Partner Advisory Council, and Microsoft’s Partner Research Panel. He also serves on the board of directors for two non-profit organizations, the Channel Vanguard Council and the Susan Ferguson Memorial Scholarship Fund. |

VP of Operations

Chris Wessells is Vice President of Operations at Wasatch Software, where he oversees the day-to-day business of both the technical and sales teams. He started his information technology career at the University of Idaho in 2000, where he served as a Systems Administrator and built his first datacenter. In 2006 he joined TetriDyn Solutions, where he ultimately served as the Director of Business IT Solutions. Later, he formed his own company, MedCHIT, which provided technology consulting and solutions to hospitals, health care facilities, schools, and businesses. Wasatch Software then acquired MedCHIT in 2011.
Mr. Wessells has an extensive background in managing and optimizing I.T. service and sales processes, as well as client networks and infrastructure. He earned an Associates in Applied Science and Computer Networking from Eastern Idaho Technical College in 2001, followed by a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology specializing in Computer Networking from the University of Idaho in 2004. He then went on to pursue his Masters Degree in Systems Engineering. Chris holds several technical certifications from Microsoft, VMware and others. |

Danielle VanHorssen |
Danielle joined Wasatch Software in 2008. She has 5+ years of experience in a variety of office management and administration roles. Danielle is now the Company’s office manager. In addition to ensuring that many of the day-to-day tasks run smoothly, Danielle assists with purchasing, I.T. services management, and accounts receivable.

Trevor Brandol |
Trevor has worked in the computer industry for over 5 years, and in Sales and Account Management for nearly 10 years. He has served in several leadership roles throughout his career. His computer experience has varied to include expertise in software licensing, managed services, and network consulting. Trevor boasts sales and/or technical certifications from Microsoft, Adobe, Symantec, Kaspersky, VMware and numerous other vendors.

Paul Despain |
Paul Despain is a computer expert who has been servicing business networks in Utah for nearly two decades. A longstanding Microsoft MVP, Paul also has vast experience with Sage MAS systems. Prior to joining Wasatch Software, Paul owned and operated Pinnacle Solutions, a successful I.T. services provider, for many years. Paul is a 'go to' technician and leader with a reputation for solving almost any computer or network issue. He holds numerous technical certifications from Microsoft, Symantec, Sage, Westbrook Technologies and others.

Bill Short |
Bill started his career with Hewlett-Packard as a support rep for imaging and printing products. He then transitioned to a pre-sales support role at HP, gaining experience with desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, and storage. Later he accepted a position to support HP resellers with sales opportunities, program information, and configuration assistance. Since joining Wasatch Software, Bill has furthered his technology expertise with certifications from top vendors such as Microsoft, Kaspersky and Symantec

Sidney Wells, CPA |
Sidney leads our Sage Software Division. Sidney has been a Sage project manager and Certified Public Accountant for approximately 30 years. She possesses the expertise to design, implement and train on accounting software. She is a Sage Certified Trainer for MAS 90, MAS 200 and MAS 500. She also holds over 40 related certifications. Her instructional skills have received top marks through the Sage Software Education Department’s survey system. Sidney loves to seek out new knowledge and share it with others. In addition to Sage training, she also instructs Wasatch’s clients on SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Microsoft Office, and more. Sidney was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from California State University at Fullerton.

Sean Beck |
Sean is a technology enthusiast with a variety of career experiences. He specializes in both onsite and remote support, and boasts expertise in Microsoft Hosted Solutions and other Cloud-based technologies. Sean holds certifications from Microsoft, Kaspersky and others. He is also our resident guru in maintaining and supporting Mac-based computers.

Samuel Pascua |
Originally from Spain, Sam has been working professionally with technology for over 5 years, and has diverse experience with helpdesk support, serving as an employee for the U.S. Government, Dell, and others. Personal expertise includes network security, viruses, and hardware troubleshooting. He holds certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Dell, Kaspersky and more.

Travis Gunn |
Travis has worked in Sales and Account Management for nearly 15 years. His experience originated in the Commercial Financial Services and Banking Industry and transitioned into consumer services sales industry for the past 5 years. Travis has also owned and operated multiple businesses. Since joining Wasatch Software, Travis has advanced his technology knowledge with certifications from top vendors such as Microsoft and Kaspersky. He also earned an Associates degree in Business from Salt Lake Community College in 1999, and a Bachelors degree in Business Management in 2001 from the University of Utah.

Greg Thomas |
Greg Thomas is a noted web / software developer and SQL programmer, as well as an all-around I.T. guru. He has written several well-known programs, including DocuMAS. His computer and I.T. experience spans over 20 years. Greg also has many years of experience with MAS 90, 200 & 500.

Charles Allen
|
Charles "Chuck" Allen is a computer aficionado with experience in Windows, Mac and Linux-based systems. He currently serves on our computer help desk as the first line of support for our I.T. services clients, and is actively pursuing a degree in computer science from Salt Lake Community College.
